From the onset, crowds poured in to begin their Christmas shopping. Our Croutique.com terrace offered visitors the perfect chance to grab stocking-fillers, one-of-a-kind gifts for loved ones and even treats for themselves. For fashion and baby products, our Mum's Zone gave mummies a chance to visit some great vendors whilst they kids' played at Little Wonders Nursery and in Santa Fe's gingerbread house.
On stage we had fantastic entertainment from some of Dubai's best festive acts, including the amazing choirs of Dubai English Speaking School, Dubai Music School, Bradenton Prep and the lovely Irish dancers from Siobhan Kilalea School of Irish Dance! For some interactive fun we had Mad Science doing a live experiment and the lively team from Play Dates doing a family friendly sing and dance along!
Not only that, but visitors were able to get their hands on some great raffle prizes filled with goodies. Our silver sponsor, Imagine Cruising, gave away one free cruise trip and there were plenty of other prizes, too, totaling over AED 30,000!
Our silver sponsor, Speedex, hosted the Speedex carnival games where children and adults alike took part in timed games that proved to be a little challenge but a lot of fun.
Kids and adults alike also got to jump on the festive props from The Prop Shop.
In our health zone, our bronze sponsor and first aid partner, King's College Hospital were offering complimentary screenings and free consultations with their doctors.
To help keep stomachs filled and mouths refreshed, visitors had the chance to taste some of the best food trucks and stalls including Taqado, Oregano, and Elevation Burger.
Families were able to let the kids loose on the many festive activities we had on the day, including our skating rink, Christmas train, and Santa Fe's gingerbread house. and of course… our hugely popular Santa’s Grotto. Kids were able to hand over their Christmas lists early to the main man himself, and later were able to wave bon voyage to him towards the end of the day with our Santa’s Parade, which included Mother Christmas and elves, Pikachu, Hello Kitty, Minnie and Mickey, and the Star Wars characters from 501st Legion!
