Offer: PCR Testing for UAE Schools and Universities

If you are required to or wish to test for COVID-19 prior to the start of the new academic year, Mediclinic Middle East is offering a special rate for PCR testing for students, teachers and employees working in schools and universities.

A PCR test is mandatory for Dubai faculty and staff before the start of the 2020/2021 academic year. Abu Dhabi students who are 12 years old and above, as well as staff returning to school are required to take a nasal swab test. In Sharjah, school staff and students of all ages must take a Covid-19 test before classes resume this term.

What is a PCR test?

The PCR test, which stands for Polymerase Chain Reaction, is a type of test used by local and global healthcare authorities to test citizens for COVID-19. To confirm whether an individual has the virus, a PCR test will be conducted using a nasal swab.

How long will the results take?

All samples are processed in Mediclinic’s molecular laboratories to ensure high quality and swift turnaround times of approximately 48 hours.
