UAE Petrol Prices Reduced for August 2022

The UAE slashed retail fuel prices for the month of August, reducing the cost of petrol and diesel for the first time in months

UAE slashes fuel prices for August 2022 news

August is now the cheapest time to purchase fuel in the UAE in three months.

What comes as great news for residents who commute with their own vehicle, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced that petrol and diesel prices will be reduced for the month of August, starting from Monday.

After two consecutive months of increasing fuel prices in the UAE, with the cost of petrol and diesel reaching an all-time high in July, prices have been slashed to up to 60 fils per litre.

UAE fuel prices for August 2022

These are the new prices for petrol in the UAE, which includes 5% VAT.

For August, the new price of a litre of Super 98 petrol will be sold at AED 4.03 per litre (previously AED 4.63 per litre) in all fuel stations across the Emirates.

What are the UAE petrol prices for August 2022

A litre of Special 95 petrol will cost AED 3.92 (previously AED 4.52 in July).

The price of diesel per litre is AED 4.14 (previously AED 4.76).

E-Plus will be sold for AED 3.84 (previous AED 4.44).

The UAE will continue to update the price of fuel in line with the global crude oil prices.
