Ras Al Khaimah Police has just rolled out a 50% waver off traffic fines incurred while in the emirate

The discount is only valid for one month, starting September 1st, 2020
On Thursday, Ras Al Khaimah Police announced that a 50 per cent discount on traffic fines received in 2019 and prior. This also applies to the cancellation of impounded vehicles, but does not include traffic fines from serious driving violations.
The discount is valid for one month only from September 1 to October 1, 2020.
In order to avail the discount, drivers must pay their traffic fines online via the Ministry of Interior's smart applications.
The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police said that this initiative is aimed at encouraging UAE drivers to follow traffic rules, settle their accumulated fines, ease their financial burdens due to Covid-19, and to make community members happy in all segments.
