If you'll be taking the Dubai Metro or Tram this weekend, here's what you need to know!
The New Year's Eve 2023-2024 timings for the Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram have been announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Residents and visitors planning on taking public transit are in luck as the train lines will be running from 8AM on Sunday December 31st, 2023, until 11:59PM on Monday January 1st, 2024, throughout the NYE and New Year's Day long weekend.

The Dubai Tram will be in service from 9AM on Sunday December 31st until 1AM on Tuesday January 2nd. That's nearly two days of non-stop tram service.

Dubai Metro will not stop at Burj Khalifa from 5PM on Sunday
The Burj Khalifa metro station will be closed from 5PM on Sunday in anticipation of the New Year's Eve rush, so commuters are recommended to use an alternative route such as car, taxi, bus, or to arrive at the station early in the day.
Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram regular hours:
Outside of the festivities, the Dubai Metro is generally open from Mondays to Thursday (5AM until midnight), Fridays (5AM until 1AM), Saturdays (5AM to midnight), and on Sundays (8AM to midnight).
The Dubai Tram's regular hours are from Monday to Saturday (6AM until 1AM the next morning), and on Sundays (9AM to 1AM the next day).
