UAE officials have slightly increased petrol rates by up to 4 fils per litre, and diesel dropped by 24 fils a litre.

From 1st March 2023, the following will change in prices:

Super 98 is AED 3.09 per litre, seeing an increase from AED 3.05 a litre in February.

Super 95 will be charged at AED 2.97 a litre, which was previously AED 2.93 last month.

A litre of E-Plus 91 will be AED 2.90, compared to AED 2.86 per litre before March.

Diesel has dropped to AED 3.14 per litre, which was AED 3.38 in February.

The UAE's petrol prices are set by authorities at the end of each month, and generally reflect the global price of oil. Previously, the Fuel Price Committee (FPC) froze the cost of petrol and diesel due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, but the regulations freezing the costs were lifted in March 2021.

Since then, the petrol prices in the UAE returned to being set by authorities and generally follow the movement of the global price of oil.
