Hi! For reasonable rent, check out areas like Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), and Al Barsha. Healthcare in Dubai is excellent with many top-notch facilities. You can bring your dog, but make sure to follow the UAE's pet import regulations. Good luck with the move!

thank you so much for the info. I moved 5 years ago from the uk to Germany with my husband and I didn't have access to any groups/chats so this chat is an absolute godsend to me. Thank you, i will...
Happy to help, hun! Us expat women gotta look out for each other <3 My ex-coworker got back to me and she said you'll need a Pet Passport and you'll have to follow the UAE government's requirements to get a pet import permit: https://www.moccae.gov.ae/assets/5064985a/pet-import-permit-dogs-and-cats.aspx (But she also recommends getting in touch with a pet relocation expert who can help you better with the process, like Dubai Kennels & Cattery, Pet Express UAE, Sandy Paws, or PawPals). Dubai has a lot of outdoor + indoor dog parks, dog resorts, and pet-friendly restaurants/cafes so rest assured you can take your dog outside as well

Welcome to the sandcastles! If your hubby's new job is based near Downtown Dubai or Jebel Ali side - I'd recommend looking into apartments in neighbourhoods like Discovery Gardens, The Springs, The Greens, Barsha Heights, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Motor City, and Sports City. If his job will be located in Old Dubai, then I'd recommend neighbourhoods like Silicon Oasis and Mirdiff

Yes you can bring your dog from Germany to Dubai. One of my ex-coworkers brought her dog from the UK to Dubai when she moved here with her husband. I'll check with her on how the process went and share the details once I receive the info :) Also, I'd really recommend you join ExpatWoman's Facebook group as we all tend to be very active there! https://www.facebook.com/groups/ewindubai

Hi there! It would depend on the location of your husband's workplace. Do you know which neighbourhood in Dubai his office or workplace will be based in? I can recommend some reasonable places :) Also for healthcare, all full-time employees who are sponsored by their company will receive free health insurance that covers a lot of hospitals, clinics, and other health centres here.
