School holidays in Abu Dhabi has always been an exciting time for kids but if you're an expat, it has most likely also become something that the rest of the family is also looking forward to. Here are the 2017/2018 term dates for private schools in Abu Dhabi:
- 3 September 2017: First day for teachers and administrative staff
- 10 September 2017: Term 1 begins for all students
- 17 December 2017: Term 1 ends (Winter Break)
- 2 January 2018: Teachers and all administrative staff return to work
- 14 January 2018: Term 2 begins for all students
- 25 March 2018: Term 2 ends (Spring Break)
- 1 April 2018: Teachers and all administrative staff return to work
