New Changes To Know About Residency Renewals In Oman

The changes were announced on Sunday

The Royal Oman Police announced a change to the renewal of residencies in Oman.

Stating that the fees and fines can now be paid electronically upon the renewal time starting from Sunday, November 4.

More on the subject, the Directorate General of Passport and Residence will start collecting renewal fees via online when printing a renewal form for a residency in the Sultanate.

Here are the steps to renew your residency in Oman:

• 1. Log into the Royal Oman Police website
• 2. Fill in the renewal form
• 3. Pay the fees and any late fines online
• 4. Get your printed residency renewal paper

“When the form is printed, all documents related to the type of residency must be attached. The applicant or the holder must then go to a passport and residency department with the worker’s passport and renewal application form, in order for the residency to be stamped in the passport,” the Royal Oman Police added.
