Bahrain Launches Home Services for Elderly and People of Determination

The in-home initiative provides care and assistance to the elderly and people of determination in the kingdom.

Bahrain's Capital Municipality has launched a new initiative dedicated to the homebound elderly and people of determination residing in the country.

According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the programme offers more than 16 services, ranging from assistance with housing statements, home insurance, building licenses, address cards, and even the distribution of garbage bags.

How can I use "We Serve You at Your Home"?

To avail the service, simply call 17983438 to book an appointment and an employee will reach out to the person in question and provide him or her with the needed services.

Assistance will arrive via a car equipped with its own computer connection and other required equipment.

"The home service initiative is based on social responsibility towards the elderly and the persons of determination and eagerness to provide quality services and ensure the satisfaction of beneficiaries," said Shawkia Humaidan, Director General of the Capital Municipality.

"We want the senior citizens and the persons of determination to receive the services they want without having to go to the buildings and apply for them."
