PCR test and quarantine on arrival in Bahrain will no longer be required

The kingdom has announced new updates to their entry procedures.

What comes as great news for anyone planning on travelling to Bahrain, the kingdom will no longer require passengers arriving through Bahrain International Airport to take a PCR test or quarantine, starting from Sunday Feb 20, 2022.

The official announcement was made by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bahrain through their social media channels.

The change in their travel policy for visitors came based on recommendations by the country's National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus.

Those in contact with confirmed cases are no longer required to isolate

Bahrain's Ministry of Health also announced that anyone who's been in contact with confirmed Covid-19 cases will no longer have to take a period of isolation.

This also applies to anyone who's been in contact with individuals who don't have a green pass on the BeAware app.
