The Middle East boasts some of the world's most inspiring and barrier-breaking fashion designers. This comes as no surprise as haute couture is well-loved in the region, with Hermès scarves hanging from Arab women's Birkin bags, the scent of Chanel sitting in their vanity drawer, and their Zuhair Murad sitting ready to wear for any extravagant celebration.

The Arab world's love for all things fashion and beauty has been evident in the number of ravishing looks that have graced red carpets around the world, designed by some of the Middle East's leading couture houses right now.

From royals to celebrities and influential figures, Arab designers have begun to dominate every major event from Fashion Week to the Royal Ascot.

Here are the Middle Eastern labels that celebrities just can't get enough of.

Nicolas Jebran

The Lebanese haute couture designer has dressed a long roll of A-Listers including Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Celene Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Amanda Holden, and even beauty mogul Huda Kattan.

Female celebrities have been glammed up from head to toe in Jebran's self-named accessories, outfits, shoes, and bags for photoshoots, red carpets, concerts, and more. Drawing inspiration from the women in his life, Jebran commends the fight in them.

Elie Saab

Lebanese designer Elie Saab is one of the most sought-after Middle Eastern names in fashion, specialising in ultra-luxurious, feminine gowns. His intricate pieces, fashioned with advanced construction techniques, has captured the eye of almost every celebrity you know.

Actresses, singers, and influencers - the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra, and former US First Lady Michelle Obama - have worn Elie Saab's elegant gowns for events and his ready-to-wear couture for interviews, travelling, and simply taking the dog on a walk.

Zuhair Murad

If you're one of the women lucky enough to wear Zuhair Murad to your wedding, hands down you're the bride of the year. The revered Lebanese designer is famous for his stunning bridal couture.

Murad's pursuit of transforming women into royalty with his gorgeously ethereal creations has made him a Pinterest dream for brides, which is why Hollywood celebrities, royalty, VIPs, etc. love him. On top of wedding wear, the couturier has also dressed stars for photoshoots, music videos, special appearances, and more.

Yousef Al Jasmi

Kuwaiti designer Yousef Al Jasmi's label is a hit among regional and global stars. Al Jasmi's dazzling dresses follow his signature body-hugging silhouette, which has attracted celebrities including Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Chrissy Teigen.

The very first A-list celebrity who wore one of his creations for a public event was pop powerhouse Beyoncé - which is the biggest and best first celebrity shout-out any designer could ask for.

Maison Yeya

Egyptian couturiers Mariam and Yasmine Yeya are the creative talents behind the fashion label Maison Yeya, which has found fans in Hollywood stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Chrissy Teigen, as well as regional celebrities.

Shaima Al Mansoori

Bahraini designer Shaima Al Mansoori is loved by international stars including Bebe Rexha and Kylie Jenner.

Fans of the American performer Bebe Rexha will remember her beautiful and voluminous red ruffled dress from the 2019 Grammy Awards. The dress, which the singer described as "amazing", is thanks to Al Mansoori.

Georges Hobeika

Beirut-based Lebanese haute couture designer Georges Hobeika has women clamouring to get their hands on his gorgeous pieces and ready-to-wear looks. Hobeika has notably dressed Chrissy Teigen, Priyanka Chopra, Zendaya, and Beyoncé.
