Location
There are many pharmacies all over Vietnam particularly in Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City. Your best bet is to go out and explore the cities to find a reliable chemist. Pharmacies are not advertised online but are on most high streets all over the main cities in Vietnam.
Medicines
Most Vietnamese pharmacies have a wide range of medicines and a lot of the medicines can be bought over the counter without the need for a prescription. It is worth however having any medicines you require to take often written down to show the pharmacist so you are not caught in the language barrier. Make sure to bring enough medicine or contraceptives for a period of time as it may take you a while to find a reliable chemist.
Opening Times
A lot of pharmacies are open until late but very few are open 24 hours. If you are looking for a pharmacy after hours in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi your best bet is to visit an International SOS Clinic or The Family Medical Practice that both have pharmacies in both cities that are open 24/7.
