There are a few expat schools, some with over thirty nationalities and some that are private and nonprofit. When you make a move to Baku, unless you are an Azerbaijani national or a Russian speaking family, these are the schools that you will most likely send your children to. The schools all have similar registration and application procedures.

In order to make a formal application for the school of your choice you will have to download the application form online or go into the school to get one. Some schools will require your child to sit for an English test; some schools require a math placement test as well as placement test for other languages. Each school differs, and each school offers a uniquely different experience for your child. We recommend that you research all the schools before choosing one.

Documents required:

  • Application forms

  • Passport Copy

  • Colour Passport Photos

  • Medical

  • Previous school records

  • Some schools require a testimonial

Please note that some schools will give priority admissions to employees of certain companies and sibling. It is also good to familiarize yourself with the school’s enrollment and probation policies. Generally new students are placed on probation and the school reserves the right to dismiss them at any given time especially if they do not perform academically.
