Saudi Passports Control Agency announced that they are looking for women to employ at the Saudi Passport Control

Saudi is making big leaps forward in reaching their goal for Vision 2030 and along with that, attaining gender equality. The Saudi Passports Control Agency has announced on January 23rd, 2018 that they are looking to employ women to work in airports and land border-crossing points in the Kingdom and carry a military rank.
Women who are interested in applying for these positions must adhere to the following conditions:
- Saudi born and raised
- Between 25 and 35 years old
- Have a high-school diploma or something equivalent
- Medically qualifies for military service
- Commit to the region / province and specified shifts that they are assigned to
- Agree to be interviewed according to the specified conditions
Saudi has continuously been making headlines in the last couple of months with announcements such as allowing women to drive, allowing women into sport stadiums and encouraging and planning more family events, granting tourist visas for the Kingdom, even to women over 25 years of age who are travelling alone, allowing women to play sports and bringing cinemas back into the country for the first time in more than 30 years.
All of these changes are part of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's Vision 2030 initiative to improve the country and wean it away from its oil dependency. One of the goals for Vision 2030 is to increase the number of women in the workforce in Saudi Arabia.
