What countries are on the Abu Dhabi Green List?

What is the Abu Dhabi 'Green List'?

It is a list of countries that have a low-risk of bringing Covid-19 into the UAE's capital. Countries around the world are continuously reviewed in regards to their Covid response and management of the pandemic, including their coronavirus infection and vaccination rates, testing policies, local Covid protocols, and entry requirements.

The Abu Dhabi Green List gets updated when a destination meets or falls below a set of Covid-19 health and safety criteria.

Any travelers arriving from a country on the Green List, regardless of whether they're vaccinated or not, will not be required to do quarantine on arrival. However, passengers will still need to take a PCR test when they arrive at the airport.

Those who are not Covid vaccinated may also face some movement restrictions and will not be allowed to enter certain public places, unless they have a 'Green' status on their AlHosn app.

We will update this page when new information about the Abu Dhabi Green List is released.

What happens if I'm arriving to Abu Dhabi from a non-Green List country?

If you're Covid-19 vaccinated (final dose received at least 28 days before travel) and you're arriving in Abu Dhabi from a non-Green List country, you will need to take a PCR test on arrival at the airport, and then two more on days 4 and 8 of your stay.

If you're arriving from a country that is not on the Green List and you are unvaccinated, you are required to take a PCR test on arrival, quarantine for 10 days, and take another Covid test on day 9.
